fugitive object

I'm not sure if 'fugitive' is still the identity I want to put on this object; however, I do remain certain that the identity of the object needs to remain prominent and strong. I am leaning towards this identity being enigmatic, puzzling and appealing over parasitic, harmful, gross.

Scenario 1. an egg.

the object will be very clean and enigmatic. the object itself will give away very little information. it is smooth. it is translucent. it is mysterious and yet strangely familiar. it will stowaway in the player's bag and not their body.

Scenario 2. fungus.

this mass attaches itself to its host skin. it sends vibrations to its host when it wants its presence to be noticed. otherwise it tries very hard to be inconspicuous despite its green color. it is growing on you. players would notice this.

Scenario 3. clothes pin.

to use a clothes pin to attach technology to a person, i think (or as i imagine it) will take away some of the object's identity as expressed in its shape. the object would have to define itself in some other way. this is why i find the egg appealing. it is whole.

need to develop gameplay out some more...
